heehee...
Happy New Year everybody
today is 18th of January, i know it's really kind of too late to say HNY but anyways hope that every single one of you have a very great 2008 n hopefully all the wishes will come true. :P
hmmm....How was my winter break?
Basically, it was pretty great!
My parents came visit and we met at NYC. We met my Dad's neighbor from childhood, who's NYC assembly right now, and had a sweet reunion lunch. We stayed there for 5 days n just showing around the big apple to my parents.
After that my parents came back Michigan with me n we visited another family friend, my uncle's best friend from high school who's living at Detroit. We went up worth for Christmas, staying at a really nice ski resort. Believed it or not, my dad loves to ski, although that was his first time ski and he fall down like every 15 seconds. N my mom had a really great time watching my dad fall down. XDDD I really had a very great time during my parents visiting, except all the driving...that really killed me!!
As to my count down... that was really sucks. coz my parents went back taiwan on 28th of December so I count down with my friends. However, the way my friends celebrate for 2008 was really really boring!! you know, the American way to celebrate everything is all about drinking. people just get together n drinking whole night...ahhh, personally, that was really stupid to me. so I was sitting in front of TV n waiting for 2008's coming. Well, it was different experience but I'll prefer to spent those seconds with you, you know.
Then spend the rest two weeks do nothing but just ate n watched movies from blockbuster. gosh! that was pretty nice, you know, so lay back and stress less, meaningless; actually, that really makes me feel like myself a huge trash!! However, being a huge trash once for a while wasn't too bad...XDDDD that's called break huh!! :)
School started on 14th of January. I took 13 credits this semester, Organic 2 + lab, Zoology + lab, calculus based fundamental physics+ lab. the first week was pretty smooth...but I can tell there are lots of hard work waiting in front for me!! Oh yeah! n I m taking ACT test on February 9th because of transferring requirement. It's gonna be a busy semester!! and hopefully, things goes as plan!! btw, thanks for the advice, David. you were right! No need to make myself that busy!!
